In 2023, I came home from Bali with a gut infection that completely changed the way I thought about gut health.
I’m a clinical naturopath, so I knew what was happening. But what surprised me was how much it affected beyond my digestion.
My gut felt completely off. I was bloated, uncomfortable and reactive to foods but I also noticed changes in my skin, mood, energy and overall wellbeing.
And even with my background, it wasn’t something that resolved overnight.
Gut health is about far more than digestion
One of the biggest things I learned through my own experience and also saw repeatedly with clients, is that gut health can show up in many different ways.
Your gut microbiome interacts with digestion, bowel regularity, immune function, skin health and the gut-brain axis.
So when the gut is disrupted, the symptoms don’t always stay neatly confined to your stomach.
You might experience things like:
-
Bloating, gas or digestive discomfort
-
Changes in bowel movements
-
Skin that suddenly feels more reactive
-
Feeling more stressed or unsettled
-
A general sense that your body just doesn’t feel like itself
For me, this was the point where gut health stopped being something I viewed as just a digestive issue.
Why I became so particular about probiotics
During my recovery, I looked much more closely at probiotics.
And one thing became very clear: not all probiotics are the same.
A probiotic isn’t automatically effective just because it contains a huge CFU number or a long list of bacteria.
Different probiotic strains have been studied for different outcomes, which means the specific strains inside a formula matter.
That became one of the biggest principles behind SolBiome.
Rather than trying to cram as many strains as possible into one capsule, I wanted to create a daily probiotic built around clinically researched strains with benefits that extended beyond digestion alone.
The formula I wish I’d had
Multi+ Probiotic was created as the daily probiotic I wanted during that period.
One capsule contains:
32.5 billion CFU from four clinically researched probiotic strains.
The formula is designed to support:
✓ Digestive comfort
✓ Regular bowel movements
✓ Skin health
✓ Balanced Mood and a healthy stress response
✓ Immune health
And because consistency matters with probiotics, I wanted it to be something simple enough to actually take every day.
No complicated protocol.
No fridge full of supplements.
Just one capsule.
Your gut doesn’t need to be “perfect”
One thing I’ve also become very conscious of is how much anxiety can develop around food when your gut isn’t feeling good.
It’s easy to start thinking:
Maybe I need to stop eating gluten.
Maybe dairy is the problem.
Maybe I should cut out another food.
Sometimes dietary changes are appropriate, but constantly removing foods without understanding what’s going on underneath can leave you feeling even more restricted.
My approach has always been to look at the gut ecosystem itself and support it rather than simply blaming individual foods.
Why I created SolBiome
Eventually, after seeing the same pattern in myself and in client after client, I realised there was a gap.
I wanted a probiotic that felt less like another supplement to manage and more like a foundational daily product.
Something evidence-led, simple and designed around the way gut health actually connects with the rest of the body.
That became Multi+.
It’s the probiotic I wish I’d had when my own gut health fell apart and the product I now recommend as a simple place to start for people wanting to support their microbiome every day.
Multi+ Probiotic
32.5 billion CFU.
4 clinically researched strains.
1 capsule daily.

I have just been diagnosed with IMO – is your product suitable for me to use?
Hi,
Is this product suitable for a 9 year old? My son had really bad food poisoning in vietnam a year ago, the vomiting, diarrhoea, fever… we took medication from the local pharmacy.. which helped alot and he recovered within a few days
he doesnt have pain or bloating or any of those symptoms at present.. but I feel his gut could do with some support as I do worry how that experience has affected his gut and what impacts it could have on his health going forward,
look forward to hearing back
